I am presently a student at SUNY Buffalo, pursuing my MS in computer science and will be gradauating in December 2016. Presently seeking internship opportunities to gain experience and broaden my exposure to different areas of computer science. In my free time, I love building new applications and learning new technologies. New activites that I am enjoying currently is writing my own blogs and cooking.

Remote Home Automation System

Built an Android app that allowed a person to control appliances, schedule lights, fans and automatically switch them off when not in use. This systems was based on the "Smart Home concept". Used Wi-Fi for communication between the app and devices. A Texas MSP430 microcontroller was interfaced to a wifi transciever to communicate with the phone.

Laser Communication System

This used a line-of-sight principle for lasers coupled with amplitude modulation was used to transfer voice signals. A capacitive transucer interfaced with a speaker was used as a receiver.

Command interpreter for AVR microcontrollers:

The command interpreter was written in embedded C and supported commands to switch off different modules, run functions and perform other tasks. It was interfaced with the serial port to communicate with the computer.
